What’s ‘chi?’ (Hint. It’s not a drink you get in a coffee shop.)

Chi means “life force” or the life energy circulating through your body.

This philosophy comes from China and it’s believed your good health is determined by balancing it through meditation and forms of martial arts like Tai Chi.

Bruce Lee was a proponent of this philosophy and energy force.

I remember a great movie about his life I watched once and in the movie he had a debilitating back injury and healed from it.

I’ve read only a few things about Bruce Lee and I remember how he thought one should always be exercising your body and he did this himself for sure even exercising while watching TV instead of sitting in a Lazy Boy chair.

Inspiring to say the least.

In our time, Conor McGregor, MMA fighter and boxer, is the only person that comes closest to being a fighter and icon just as impressive as Bruce Lee.  He was obviously influenced by Mohammed Ali and Bruce Lee both and is definitely an all star when it comes to heroic feats in fighting arenas.

If you don’t know who he is just YouTube him and you will see some inspiring things about his life.

One thing he does is visualize success. It’s a constant thing he does all the time without fail and he ended up winning two belts in the UFC because of it.

What a great a idea, huh?

I usually visualize defeat, I can’t lie, but I’m always inspired by people who practice positive thoughts and know I can change the way I do things if I practice and try.

They say it takes two weeks to form a habit or see change.

So should I think positive thoughts everyday for two weeks straight?  Yes.  I should!

And you should, too.

Bruce Lee has some books you can read about his philosophy.

I am fascinated by a book called “Striking Thoughts” that has quotes from Bruce Lee.
